Dear Parents:
We congratulate all the students who were given awards at our Student Recognition Assembly on Thursday, January 19. We are very proud of their accomplishments. We hope you had a chance to celebrate together with your family.

We thank Ms. Cora Flemate and the Fourth Grade Class for guiding us in prayer to celebrate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I apologize for making the mistake of thanking the third grade class and not the actual class that guided the prayer service.

We thank all the parents who signed up for one of the three committees established by the Parent School Advisory Board. If you have not yet signed up for one, please, do so using the form below.

We sent out an invitation to all the students who have not yet celebrated their First Eucharist (First Communion). The invitation included the requirements to participate in this year’s celebration. If you have any questions, please contact me. Our first mandatory parent meeting to prepare your children for their First Eucharist will be Thursday, January26 at the school’s library from 7 to 8:30pm. The students participating need to have been baptized Catholic. Only parents are expected to attend the parent meetings.

Next week we will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week! Join us for the beginning of our celebration at any of the morning masses: 9:00am (Vietnamese), 10:30am (English), or Noon (Spanish). On Monday, January 30, ten of our students will be joining students from all over our Diocese of San Jose in prayer and reflection. Tuesday, our faculty members will be recognized by our students at St. Patrick School. Wednesday is our Open House from 8:30am to Noon. Thursday we will have our Mass to celebrate the Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple and to recognize all our school volunteers, and finally Friday we will be recognizing our precious students as the great gift they are.

Estimados Padres de Familia:
Felicitamos a todos los estudiantes que recibieron certificados de reconocimiento en la Asamblea Estudiantil de Reconocimiento del jueves 19 de enero. Estamos muy orgullosos de sus logros.

Le agradecemos a la Srita. Flemate y al Grado 4 por guiarnos en oración en la celebración en honor al Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Pido disculpas por haberme equivocado al haber agradecido al Grado 3 y no al grado que realmente guió la oración.

Agradecemos a los padres de familia que se inscribieron a uno de los tres comités establecidos por el Grupo de Consejo de Padres de Familia. Si todavía no se han inscrito a uno de estos comités, por favor, llenen la forma en esta carta.

Enviamos una invitación a todos los estudiantes a quienes estamos invitando a celebrar su Primera Eucaristía (Primera Comunión). La invitacion incluyó los requisitos para participar en la celebración de este año. Si tienen ustedes preguntas, por favor, pónganse en contacto conmigo. Nuestra primera junta obligatoria para preparar a sus hijos para la Primera Eucaristía será mañana, 26 de enero en la biblioteca de la escuela de 7 a 8:30pm. Los estudiantes participando deben estar ya bautizados en la Iglesia Católica. Solo los padres de familia deben asistir a las reuniones y no los estudiantes.

¡La próxima semana celebraremos Catholic Schools Week! Les invitamos al comienzo de esta celebración a una de las misas de este domingo por la mañana: 9:00am (vietnamita), 10:30am (inglés), or 12pm (español). El lunes, 30 de enero, diez de nuestros estudiantes se reunirán con estudiantes de toda la Diócesis de San José, a orar y reflexionar. El martes, los maestros serán reconocido por los estudiantes de la Escuela de San Patricio. El miércoles es nuestro Open House de 8:30am a 12pm. El jueves tendremos la misa para celebrar la Presentación de Nuestro Señor en el Templo y para reconocer a todos los voluntarios de la escuela, y finalmente el viernes reconoceremos a nuestros preciosos estudiantes por ser el gran don que se nos ha confiado.

Chúng tôi chúc mừng tất cã các học sinh đã nhận được bằng khen trong Đại Hội Tưởng Thưởng Học sinh vào Thứ 5, 19 Tháng 1. Chúng tôi rất hãnnh diện về nhửng thành tích của các em. Chúng tôi hy vọng quí vị củng đã cùng mừng cho các em với gia đình quí vị.

Chúng tôi cãm ơn Ms. Cora Flemate và Lớp 4 đã hướng dẩn chúng ta cầu nguyện để vinh danh việc làm của Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., chúng tôi xin lổi đã cãm ơn lầm lớp 3 thay vì cãm ơn lớp đă thực sự hướng dẩn buổi cầu nguyện.

Chúng tôi cãm ơn tất cã phụ huynh đã ghi tên trong một trong ba ủy ban thành lập bởi Ban Phụ Huynh Cố vấn cho trường. Nếu quí vị chưa ghi tên tham gia xin hảy dùng mẩu dưới đây dể ghi tên.

Chúng tôi đã gởi thơ mời cho nhửng học sinh chưa cử hành Rước Lể Lần Đầu. Thư mời có bao gồm các điều kiện để tham gia vào việc cử hành lể năm nay. Nếu quí vị có câu hỏi, xin liên lạc với tôi. Buổi hợp bắt buộc dành cho phụ huynh để chuẩn bị con em cho Rước Lể Lần Đầu sẽ vào Thứ 5, 26 Tháng 1 tại thư viện trường từ 7 giờ đến 8 giờ 30 tối. Nhửng học sinh tham gia cần phải được rửa tội theo Công giáo trước đó. Chỉ có nhửng phụ huynh cần tham dự buổi hợp phụ huynh mà thôi.

Tuần tới chúng ta sẽ kỷ niệm Tuần lể các Trường Công giáo! Hảy cùng chúng tôi bắt đầu việc kỷ niệm trong tất cã các Thánh lể buổi sáng; 9 giờ sáng (tiếng Việt), 10 giờ 30 (tiếng Anh), hoặc 12 giờ trưa (Spanish). Vào Thứ 2, 30 tháng 1, mười trong số học sinh của chúng ta sẽ hợp cùng các học sinh trong toàn Giáo phận San Jose để cầu nguyện và suy gẩm. Vào Thứ 3, các giáo viên của trường chúng ta sẽ được vinh danh bởi các học sinh. Vào Thứ 4 là ngày Trường Mở Rộng Cửa từ 8 giờ 30 sáng đến 12 giờ trưa. Vào Thứ 5 chúng ta sẽ có Thánh lể để kỷ niệm Lể Dâng Chúa trong Đền Thánh và củng để ghi công các thiện nguyện viên của trường, và cuối cùng vào Thứ 6 chúng ta sẽ ghi công các học sinh của chúng ta cho nhửng năng khiếu của các em.
