Dear Parents:

Thank you for your participation in the events of Catholic Schools Week in which we made our school visible not only at St. Patrick Church, but at other parishes like St. Maria Goretti and Our Lady of Guadalupe.  We thank you for the recognition our faculty and staff received yesterday and we are looking forward to thank and honor all our volunteers tomorrow at 1pm at our Mass in which we will be celebrating the Presentation of Our Lord to the Temple.  If you are a volunteer, be sure to join us.  Friday, February 3 we will be recognizing our students by allowing them to wear free dress (be sure to wear appropriate attire—refer to the Parent-Student Handbook in our website) and by having them participate in an assembly that has been planned by Student Council.

We are grateful to all the parents who signed up to work at one of our three committees.  We are asking them to attend the School Advisory Board Meeting on Thursday, February 9 from 6 to 7:30pm to agree on the work that needs to be done.  We will be meeting at the Library.  We hope you are able to join us.

Our second mandatory parent meeting to prepare your children for their First Eucharist will be tomorrow, February 2 at the school’s library from 7 to 8:30pm.  The students participating need to have been baptized Catholic.  Only parents are expected to attend these parent meetings.

In the Wednesday envelope every family will be receiving a Green Grocery Bag as a token of our gratefulness during Catholic Schools Week.  Use it proudly as you do your shopping and if people ask you about St. Patrick School, invite them to visit us.  We are accepting new students for next year!

Estimados Padres de Familia:

Gracias por su participación en los eventos de la Semana de las Escuelas Católicas durante los cuales dimos a conocer más  anuestra escuela, no solo en la Iglesia de San Patricio, sino también en otras parroquias como en la de Santa María Goretti y en la de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.  Les agradecemos el haber reconocido ayer a nuestra facultad y personal de la escuela, y anticipamos con gusto el poder agradecer y honrar a todos nuestros voluntarios, mañana, 1 de enero en la Misa de la 1pm, en la que celebraremos la Presentación de Nuestro Señor al Templo.   Si ustedes son voluntarios de la escuela, asegúrense de estar presentes mañana.  El viernes, 3 de febrero, reconoceremos a nuestros estudiantes permitiéndoles llevar vestido libre (no uniforme —favor de leer el Parent-Student Handbook en nuestro sitio del internet para asegurarse de llevar ropa adecuada) y participando en una asamblea que ha sido preparada por el Comité Estudiantil.

Estamos muy agradecidos con todos los padres de familia que se inscribieron para trabajar en uno de los tres comités que se formaron.  Les estamos pidiendo que asistan a la junta del Grupo de Consejo de Padres de Familia el próximo jueves 9 de febrero de 6 a 7:30pm para ponernos de acuerdo con respecto al trabajo que necesita hacerse.  Nos reuniremos en la biblioteca.  Esperamos que puedan ustedes asistir.

Nuestra segunda reunión obligatoria para preparar a sus hijos para su Primera Eucaristía (Comunión) será mañana, 2 de febrero en la biblioteca de la escuela de 7 a 8:30pm.  Los estudiantes participando necesitan haber sido bautizados.  Solo los padres de familia necesitan asistir a estas reuniones.

En este sobre de hoy, todas las familias recibirán una Bolsa Verde para cargar víveres, como un regalo de nuestro agradecimiento durante la Semana de las Escuelas Católicas.  Utilísenlas con orgullo al hacer sus compras y si la gente les hace preguntas acerca de la escuela de San Patricio, invítenla a que nos visite.  ¡Ya estamos aceptando a nuevos estudiantes para el año que entra!

Cùng quí Phụ huynh:

Cãm ơn sự tham gia của quí vị trong nhửng sinh hoạt của Tuần Lể Các trường Công Giáo mà theo đó chúng ta đã làm cho trường chúng ta được biết đến không chỉ tại nhà thờ St Patrick mà còn tại các giáo xứ khác như St Maria Goretti và Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Chúng tôi cãm ơn quí vị về sự vinh danh mà các giáo viên và nhân viên trường đã nhận được hôm qua và chúng ta củng đang trông tới việc cãm ơn và vinh danh nhửng thiện nguyện viên vào ngày mai lúc 1 gìờ vào Thánh lể mà trong đó chúng ta sẽ kỷ niệm lể Dân Chúa Trong Đền Thánh.  Nếu quí vị là một thiện nguyện viên, xin nhớ tham gia cùng chúng tôi. Thứ 6, ngày 3 Tháng 2 chúng tôi sẽ tưởng thưởng các học sinh bằng cách cho các em mặc trang phục tự do (xin mặc quần áo thích hợp—xin hảy xem Cuốn cẩm nang Phụ huynh-Học sinh (Parent student handbook) trên trang nhà của trường) và để các em tham gia vào cuộc hợp toàn trường đă được kế hoạch bởi Ban đại diện học sinh.

Chúng tôi rất biết ơn tất că các phụ huynh đã ghi danh làm việc trong ba ủy ban của chúng ta.  Chúng tôi yêu cầu họ tham dự vào buổi hợp Ban Phụ huynh Cố vấn vào Thứ năm, 9 Tháng 2 từ 6 giờ đến 7 giờ 30 để thỏa thuận về nhửng việc cần phải làm.  Chúng ta sẽ hợp tại Thư viện.  Chúng tôi mong quí vị sẽ tham dự với chúng tôi.

Buổi hợp bắt buộc thứ nhì dành cho phụ huynh để chuần bị cho các em Rước lể Lần đầu sẽ vào ngày mai, 2 Tháng 2 tại thư viện trường từ 7 giờ đến 8 giờ 30.  Nhửng học sinh tham gia phải được rửa tội theo Công giáo trước. Chỉ có phụ huynh cần tham dự nhửng buổi hợp phụ huynh mà thôi.

Trong phong thư Thứ tư tất cã các gia đình sẽ nhận được một Giỏ đi chợ Xanh như một xác nhận sự biêt ơn của chúng tôi trong Tuần lể Các Trường Công Giáo.  Hảy xử dụng nó một cách hảnh diện mổi khi quí vị đi chợ, và nuế có ai hỏi về trường St Patrick thì xin quí vị mời họ đến thăm trường chúng ta.  Chúng ta đang nhận học sinh mới cho niên học tới.
